One of the biggest celebrations in the Christian Church, Easter, is the day we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection.
There are many symbols that remind us of the new life that we have in Jesus. Eggs, lillies and butterflies all represent new life. The empty cross also reminds us of Easter because it symbolises that Jesus is no longer dead & hanging on the cross. We use the colour white at Easter to represent newness and purity.
