White – Easter & Christmas

Our church uses colour symbolism in worship. White is used for the most important celebrations of the Church – Christmas and Easter.

Easter Sunday

Easter – the day we celebrate Jesus rising from the dead.

The butterfly is an Easter symbol. It represents the new life that Jesus gives us in his resurrection.

The Christ Candle is also known as the Easter Candle or the Paschal Candle. It is a special candle that is new every year at Easter.
